The artist excelled in showing the minute details of the walls, doors, balancers, and remnants of the stone used to build the walls of these houses. The gradation of the colours of the sky, the shadows of distant houses, and the Sidr and Samar trees, which symbolise the Omani environment, added to the beauty of the painting. The artist wanted to draw our attention to the importance of restoring what remains of the ancestral legacy before we lose it completely.
