he artist used earthy colours and excelled in showing the beauty of these colours by imagining a beautiful view of his village and the mosque. Accuracy and perfection transcended from drawing the village to highlighting minute details that a passing person might not notice, such as the drawing of the shepherd returning his sheep to the outskirts of the village, leaving a beautiful impression with the gradient of the colours of the sky. Indeed, we sense from the painting that it is time for the sheep to return to their homes. The presence of date palms, Ghaf trees, and Sidr trees is an indication of the Omani nature.
