At first glance, the one who contemplates these two paintings would think that they are identical. Had it not been for there being a slight difference, the beholder would have thought that it is a repetitive drawing. Here, the artist’s intelligence and distinction really emerged, as they are two different villages that the artist imagined. The artist wanted to draw our attention to the beauty and simplicity of the Omani villages and their similarities. Creativity and mastery start from choosing the perspective and choosing the colours to the infinite accuracy in highlighting the village houses and exceeding that to the accuracy and fine details in drawing the doors and windows. The difference in the nature of the land, as is evident in the two paintings, confirms that they belong to two different villages.
